Securing files.
Besides win default encription and folderguard, what is the best way to secure some PDF files??

do you want programs to access them or just keep people from looking at them

me i just use a simple zip file to keep people from playing with my files. Make it password access and then your set. Helps pack it to. 2 for 1.

This are PDF files that I have in a Cd... I want to encript them so nobody can open them. (keeping the format *no using .rar*)

Acrobat Pro also lets you set security permissions on PDF files, such as inability to print, modify, save, etc. I'm pretty sure there's also something in there that will let you specify that the pdf can't be viewed without entering a password.

Folderguard is so easy to figure out... (everybody with .3% of brain can brake the password).

then i would a program called iSafeGuard. You can download it for free at download.com. The lic. is free too. And i still dont c how a belt will help keep your files safe, i can see it working to keep your kids out of them. ???
