Need help with an Exe. file
we just some family photos done and I was sent a exe. file with all the pics and some music in it. It's kinda like a power point presentation but like I said it's an exe. So I'm trying to figure out how to extract the file from it.
Anyone wanna take a crack at it?

Look at the properties or even look at it with a hex editor and find out what was used to create it, then see if you can get that program. Maybe it can load the exe and extract the pictures.

Nice one!
Well, if you can find 'JFIF' a bunch of times, you may be able to extract the data. There's 6 byte before that to the start of the file, then search for the next one and save that to a .jpg file. Then repeat. I've had to recover corrupt CF cards that way if nothing else worked.
