XP wont search
Dont know what I have removed because most of my software still works, all except 'search' from the start bar (xp)
I cant see any network adaptors/cards but I have net access and workgoups and an IP
I cant see any HD's in computer management
If I install anything using MSI it gets to about 80% then sits for around 10 minutes, then finishes the install.(size doesnt matter)
.net 1 is installed but it wont let me install the service pack.
start-run-command gives an error that the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos based programs.......
Anyone knows what files I may need to replace to be able to search again, I can live with the rest
I dont want to reinstall, it toook ages to get it all working just right, apart from the little problems above.
