Smile sucking down a Redbull....

some you might find this interesting.... from slashdot.org.

article about the energy/hyper drink redbull being under investigation in Sweden for causing sudden death.

I really like the quote saying that redbull can't be sold in stores in Norway,Denmark,France since it is classified medicinal, but could be sold in a chemist no sweat!

im sure a lot of you have knocked back a few of these after a late nite, or during one at a nightclub... god knows I have... though personally I prefer another variant of the drink theme... called a "V" drink. anyone from AUS/NZ should know what im talking about.

I believe that this is due to the fact that Redbull has an ingredient called [b]Taurine[b] (this is also used in Cat-Food too.. for the eyes as I'm not mistaken)

I remember when the first Redbull where getting popular.
People would take a lot of 6-packs with them when they returned home from wintersport in Austria

Then a couple of years later the company also started to sell Redbull in The Netherlands.
A little bit off investigation showed that the 'original' Austria Redbull contained 6 times as many Taurine as the Dutch did.

Someone then told me that this Taurine is not too healthy.

I don't know... my stomach always gave me a weird feeling when I drank Redbull, which I don't have with other 'Energizers'

You want to wake up and have mad energy, you should try a thermadrene (sp?)... They are really cheap and they will make your head spin off. Available at any GNC!

(probably not the best thing for you but it will keep you awake all night even when you are **** *** drunk)
