I knew this guy in junior high named carl. He was a big troulblemaker. He stabbed a girl with a pen and was expelled (later re-established). He broke into the school and changed his grades so he would pass all his classes. After that, I saw him only once or twice.

Except on the news. He was arrested for stealing a car when he was 15 and they sent him to one of those "survival camps" in Utah. There, he learned to live off the land and tied up his "counselors." They didnt find him for 6 months. Then, he stole some explosives and planned to blow up a busy bridge in downtown nashville.

and now this. the rest of his family is perfectly normal. His brother, a good freind of mine, owns a web-design company. I even dated his sister for a couple of months in high school.

I am really friggin upset at these people who hired a parolee to take care of middle-school students. I know christians are supposed to forgive and forget, but geez.....

The worst part about it is that he raped a 12 year old gitl. For one that is sick but, that will cause permanent emotional and social damage to that girl. I know that there are 3 or 4 sex offenders in my neighborhood but I couldn't imagine anything like that happening here. Just liek when my brother and sister were at church camp 5 or six years ago there was someone with drugs and in the end 10 or so people were in the hospital. Goes to prove that anything can happen anywhere. Still, the permanent damage on that young girl is going to haunt her for the rest of her life.
