I would most definately have to say a Hummer.
They have this huge panel next to the driver for putting stereos, etc. in, and I would put everything from a Stereo, EQ, scanner in.
I would want the biggest tires you could find. Leather upholstry, and the whole rear. would be nothing buy 12" Subs. Nothing beats a 400mile cruising Range + secondary fuel tank for an extra 400 miles. And its diesel, which is usually cheaper than gas.
If I couldn't get one of those, I would go with a 2002 Suburban. Fully loaded.
I'm not much into sports cars.
If I couldn't get an SUV, I would have to go with a 2002 Lincoln Continental, Moon Roof, leather, and the biggest Amp I could fit in the trunk.

well, I would have a hard time choosing nr2. nr1 for me, is a cadillac '59 convertible. surprised no-one mentioned this one. I've been in love with those for as I long as I can remember.
for nr2... well if it has too be a new car it's a aston martin vanquish...poeh what a car... If it doesn't well take your pick e-type, xk140, xk120 (convertibles) '58 ford skyline.. any american car build between 1950-1960 for that matter.
I don't know really I a real car-nutter, any car would do, as long as it has a personality, would want a car everybody drives think that goes for all of us here.
to keep it short... caddy'59!

I'd have to say Mclaren f1 too. Show you were talking about i think is top gear. I have great vid clip of guy having drag and he starts by saying "Your about to see the difference between a really really fast car (skyline gtr bombed) and a mclaren f1" This thing just burns the gtr so good.
The another would have to be a hummer.

My Girlfriend and i are both drooling over the new Nissan Z car... (350Z?)
I still kinda partial to a Skyline GT-R...
Something about the words TwinTurbo.

** Wipes the drool from his mouth ***
WOW that Z car is awesome! I'm so glad the manufaturers are releasing their concept cars, and breaking the old standard of design. On a typical day there are only a few cars that would catch your eye, that is one I would drool over! Now hopefully the innards are as great as the exterior.

I personally like the old Z cars better (84-90). The newer ones are good (1991-?), but the new 350Z is just too roundish. There's nothing to distinguish it from all the other similarily (sp?) shaped cars. Now, the Mazda RX-8, there's a unique car.

The Mazda RZ-8 is a very nice car, but it is still a concept car. For some reason Mazda hasn't relesed it yet.

Actually, the RX-8 is due out in late 2002 as a 2003 model, and the new RX-7 is due out in late 2004. I can't wait...

Nah, the look nothing alike. The TT just looks like a slightly more agressive VW Beetle (ugly!), and the RX-8 looks like....I don't know really...The rear end looks sort of S2000'ish, but the front is clearly Mazda. The Z just looks like a modern remake of the 84-90 300ZX, but it certainly does't have the same charm...

Porsche 911 GT2, only $179,000, 0-60, 3.6 seconds
Ameritech McLaren F1, $1,000,000 (EST), 0-60, 3.4
Hrmm..
I think I'll take the Porsche and put the rest in the bank.
Even beat the crap out of the F1 on the skidpad (1.02g vs .86g)
