What a douchebag.
http://www.hollywood.com/news/detail/id/3477151
"Tom is famously very litigious and will go to great lengths to protect his reputation. Tom was said not to like the episode and Paramount just didn't dare risk showing it again. It's a shame that UK audiences will never see it because it's very funny."
**** you Tom and **** you Paramount...
you bow to Tom ******* Cruise? Who the hell is he? You (paramount) are a HUGE corporation, how the **** does Tom Cruise have any say in what gets broadcast in the UK? hes one douchebag among many, how can one celebrity get a world broadcast TV show banned?

I sure hope this doesn't mean the episode won't be on the DVD for this season when it comes out!

Comedy Central has re-aired that episode a few times since it originally aired. Granted, that was before this story came out. However, Tom and his litigous *** can sue all he wants. Satire is perfectly legal and protected under the First Amendment. As an actor, he should wholly understand and appreciate this.
Tom Cruise needs to be able to look at himself and have a laugh. His actions are friggin' hilarious, from jumping around on Oprah's couch like a gorilla on PCP to arguing with Matt Lauer yet not saying anything of any substance.
It's a shame. Tom Cruise used to be a good actor. He hasn't done anything worthy of praise ina long time. I think we all enjoyed Top Gun and Risky Business and Taps (assuming you're old enough to remember that far back). Hell, the first Mission: Impossible was pretty good. But has he done anything good int eh past five years? Not a damn thing.

I thought he was great in Born On The 4th of July - I thought that was a good film though, as was Last Samurai. Top Gun was a classic, albeit cheesy as **** with over the top acting - the wing man line is still the cheesiest line in the history of cinema ever!
Yeah I think his ego's lost its way a little over the years - he did himself no favours by dumping Nicole Kidman by letter either - that **** was ****ed up!
Having said that, there's still no basis for the gay rumours, and I'd be pretty ****ed off too.
Now where can I download this episode.....

I don't even read all that tabloid crap, or base a movie on all this judgemental BS about an actor's personal life. I'd rather that not ruin the entertainment value of a movie. If they can play the part and play it well, it works for me. Southpark was funny as hell though.
