Hehe
It seems like they cant do much with interia so they try to beef up the exteria...
But they dont understand that they dealing with computers and how it look is the last thing REAL computer user cares about.
No matter how much they try they will never win the market!
P.S Just a sugestion... I recon Apple would make more money if they stop making computers and started making a nicly designed furniture.

I agree. MACs dominate the graphic design, and publishing sector. Although I hate to admit it.

wrong...before i became hardcore programmer/hacker, photoshop was my stuff. I wont even begin to mention illegal stuff i did with it. So to set the record straight, i am familiar with photoshop not as good as i use to be right now, but i can still get around it. And yes, i know for a fact (maybe a decade ago) that apple dominated the computer industry when it comes to graphics. With todays apps gearing towards more IBM compactable PC's, i doubt apple will last another 10yrs. I mean last yr or so, they released that new OS and now this.

Well eventhough I hate to admit , iMAC is great machine , much much solid OS than Windows , beautiful graphic , and I like iMac design. Specially I love the imac monitor (digital-digital input) . Only problem is it's not popular as much as PC b/c of the cost. But I personally think that's somthing we have to pay for solid machine. If Steve let MAC in open market like PC , yeah, the price will definitly will go low BUT one will try to make better MAC then other and the system WILL be unstable , the OS can do so much, OS and the hardware HAVE to work together for realiable computer. I think Steve is doing good job keep MAC themself.
Well some people say MAC is not as fast as PC well yeah MAC CPU speed is lower than PC CPU but the if you can work with programs fast , why does CPU number matter? Since iMAC has rock solid hardware and OS , the programs will work fast . By the way motorola CPU works little different than PC CPU.
Well I've been talking like I'm so favor with iMAC but I'm not I never had MAC I only use PC b/c I can tweak the pc (software & hardware) the way I want . that's why a lot of hardcord user, including myself prefer PC .
But I know the good machine when I see one.
the new G4 with MAC OS X is truly beatiful computer.

Absolutley, Even for the high price, OS X is rock soild. Windows jus cant compete with OS X. Like Accord stated, The G3 and 4 processers clock cycles work differently then the intel and amd based cpus. If you did benchmarking with a high end g4 and good 1.5ghz pc machine, youd find that the g4 will perfrom as good or even better in most areas. None the less, i use pcs, but i hate it.
