back from paint... looks amazing :)

wssup guys! got my parts back from paint today... i thought they look amazing lets hear wat uve got to say... everything is clear coated and these pics are before waxin the bike... i already put em on the bike i just need to go wax it and take some pics ill be doing that tonite so i will ahve em upload...

aritey... got the pics... hope u guys like em i still need to install my front hugger that is acctuly silver to add a nice bright touch...
i need to raise the bike about 1 to 2 inchs because as you can tell in a few pics when i hit pot holes it scrapes the understail that i made... the under tail is also going to have 5 blue leds drilled into it to light up the rear end... and right now the trunk area looks a bit dirty thats becase i didnt really finish it lol ... it holds 1. remote shock res 2. fuse box 3. dpdt relay box the trunk space is 5x bigger then what i had before and also the things sticking out of the side of the bke (aka frame sliders) are NOT made for this bike they were retrofitted onto it they are off a yamaha r1 i had to drill holes into the sides to have em stick out its a 50 dollor investment that will save me oer 500 if the bike falls over

ENJOY

I know I don't have many posts......but I am a honest person...soooooooo

I hope you didn't pay very much for that.

The silver looks like it was done with spray paint, the shadowing and outlines on the letters looks jagged and and amature, the plastics were prep'd correctly for paint as you can see underlying scratches and lines.

I hate to sound like a dick, but my best friend is a tattoo/airbrush artist and I have seen what good work looks like. I also ride (cbr 600rr) stock paint minus all the decals......any way.......if I showed up to the saturday night ride with that I deffinatley would not be bragging about it.

Again I am sorry, and I don't know where you ride or hang out at I just wouldn't get my hopes up that everyone will respect it.

And I could be totally wrong and the pics just dont do it justice

glad u were honest lol dont worry im not pist :-) yeah i know it wasnt done PERFECTLY i only paid 150 bucks for it the good part about it is that you cant feel those scratchs the clear is really smooth... and also when you see it in person in normal daylite you cant see the scratchs but the flash and spot lights i had n in the garage maximize it bigggg time... im not really worried about it right now becasue i will prolly be upgrading to 01-03 fairings pritty soon... :-)

cool enough man. For 150 I'd say you got your moneys worth
The last bike I had painted cost me $1500 but then I learned it just wasn't worth it......Thus my current bike is pure black.

Plus I am sure the new paint at least looks better then the road rash it is hiding

Ya, not the greatest paint job but for being 16 I'd say you are doing pretty well. And what is up with your stupid avatar? I want to shoot that kid!

I was there at one point.......back when I was around 17-18 I laid my first bike down.....spent the winter doing a crap bondo job to fill in the rash...tried spraying which just made it look worse so I ended up going to the auto parts store and buying this big stupid looking decal of a skeleton tearing through the side.....

I also agree with brady....the avatar is annoying as hell.......
