Talking New ride!

I started riding dirt bikes when I was 7 or so, got my motorcycle license at 17, and have been riding my dad's bike since then because I couldn't afford one (college and all).

I was just about to start saving up money to go buy an old rat bike, when my dad decided to get an '06 HD Road King. So what will he do with his old one? Yup, I'm inheriting it

So as of next Monday when he picks up the new Harley, I'll have my own motorcycle! It's an '85 Honda V65 Magna: V4, 1100cc, 16V DOHC engine, something like 115HP, shaft drive makes it smooth and quiet to ride. I won't be mp3-ifying it, but I thought I'd share anyways.

Ride and drive safe everyone!

I'll post pictures on Monday when my dad picks up his new bike. We'll undoubtedly want to take a few snapshots

Well we couldn't pick it up on Monday because my dad procrastinated at the bank, but he got the cashier's check on Wednesday and last night we picked up his new '06 HD Road King Classic.

So to satisfy Rafster's request, and because I haven't shown you guys my new RSX yet, here's a few pictures of both:

And because I know you want to see it, a few action shots of my Dad on his new Harley. We live on a dead-end road that's maybe 125 yds long... the no-helmet thing isn't that bad here, especially since he got up to maybe 20:

Aw crap I just noticed... the seat usually is closer to the gas tank than that, I just have it on wrong in the pics... aftermarket and all, the old one just died a few years ago...
