It is the exact same screen in resolution, color depth and technology as the Sidekick II.

The transflective screens on the Sidekick suffers from washed out colors, and images tend to look pixelated.

it does not improve on the II's notoriously weak signal strength.

the main speaker is not loud enough to hear the Sidekick ringing or use the speakerphone in noisy environments except on the loudest volume.

the battery continues to drain (though at a much slower rate) when the device is turned off and the battery rarely lasts longer than 2 days which is why danger has made it removable now.

and the camera sucks ***.

wow, i didnt realize it had all those negatives but sometimes, to some people, they may not see it so badly..

i'll use it for a week... if i feel that the singal sucks or the screen sucks, etc, i'll just put it back on ebay for more than i paid for it ;]

i got it for close to 300 without a contract or anything. this unit was brand new and i was the first one to cut the tape on the box. it's not a refurb either - it was sent to the person i bought it from straight from tmobile! ;]

I'll use it for a week and update this thread accordingly ;]
