In a real PC car struggle

Ok.. Well i found this site along time ago becasue i wanted to put a PC in my car to play all my songs and videos...
Right now im soo confused.. Im not sure if i want to put all of this in my current car. Its a Mercedes 300E. Im kinda planning on selling it soon, but im not so sure i will. My dad has his own Mercedes repair shop so anything that goes wrong with the car gets fixed. So if i kill the engine, i have to go to eastern wasthington one weekend and swap out mine with one of the parts ones we have. So i kinda wanna sell my car just to get some money while its still good. We just bought a 16 valve 190E. Its a 5 speed and i have never driven a manual car (done ATV's for a few years now) I get the concept just gotta learn...
I was thinking of taking that car but idk if my dad will let me. And thats a rare car that i dont wanna hack up for this stuff.

I really dont know what i should do. My grandma has a Datsun 280Z that im going to be fixing up soon but thats not the kind of car that this should go in eigther... Dam i have no idea what to do.....
I was thinking of buying another Datsun (they are really chep if your willing to work on them) And just making a sound system car... All the pimp stuff. LOL

I just know that if i sell my car nobody will want this stuff because they wont figure it out at all.
If any of you have read this far i thank you for listening to be whine... LOL... Just leave some comments on what you guys would do...

lol sounds to me like you need to make up your mind. Whether you want your screen in dash or mounted.

**** it, get the 190E - it's a real pimp mobile! And don't worry about manual transmission - it's the only way to drive....
Plus, Mercs are reliable and their engines are pretty bulletproof

Well now i really wanna install this system in my car to show off. LOL The only thing that turns me off about the whole car PC thing is the load up time. I dont wanna be sitting there for 2 min waiting for it it load. Also how easy it is to find songs and change the volume.... I guess that all depends on the frontend... IDK... its just really got me in a bind. Iv been looking at liunx but there is barly any support there. Windows just loads so dam slow... Then getting it to sleep/turn off, idk...

load up time isnt nothing. 30 seconds.. cmon. by the time i put on my seatbeat and get outta my driveway my pc is on and i do a full shutdown, not hibernation or standby. If i used roadrunner as my shell it wil boot even quicker and if i really wanted fast, i could of used a solid state drive with a lite version of xp.

what are you really afraid of? you could always install it so its able to be put back to stock when you sell it.....

Well I only noticed because Spaghetti replied earlier in the post and he doesn't post over here much these days so I thought it was a bit strange and then looked at the date.
