T-Mobile Free WiFi for 30 Days Promo

LINK:https://selfcare.hotspot.t-mobile.co...romo=KD1MTH105

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure how this all works out so I would call Customer Care before you guys give this a try, but from what I understand if you sign up and cancel before your 30th day, you get free access to all T-Mobile HotSpots. Which is cool for me

I actually found this from another forum I am a part of, so if you guys want to discuss it further check out the original thread here: http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=7811698

Thats it, just want to share with you guys

Hot Spots are gay.

you have to pay to use them, and then you have to be in a hotspot to access the wifi. meaning you have to be in front of a starbucks, or at the airport etc. so drive around try to find one, and then sit there the whole time your using it.

If im paying for access to the interenet from a cell phone company, i want to be able to use it any where i get a cell signal.

Well.....while I agree with you on some levels.....the point of the thread was to let people know that T-Mobile was doing a promotion for >FREE< Hotspot access.... This would let people try it out and see if they like it....

i understand completely. my point was that a "car"pc keyword car is mobile. why would you pay the 10 bucks a month when you have to be parked at a starbucks or at the airport. if i have to drive somewhere to hit a hotspot, why woulnt i just use my home pc if im going to sit somewhere? for less money a month you can get internet thru your cell and use that as a modem.

i understand that its a 30 day propmo, but whats the point really? Im posting right now from my car, sitting here not movign in traffic. I gaurantee theres no hotspot here for me to access.

now playing devils advocate, if this hotspot was a wider area then just in front of a store, say it encompassedthe entire city with wifi and paying would let you access it, id see a point and jump all over it.

Yeah, I agree with that 100%. Laptops are for HotSpot people.... We on the other hand need a much wider range of area to access from...

Personally, I use my WAP on my cell and tether thru Bluetooth. Thats the cheapest/easiest way to get internet mobile I.M.O. Only downside is the speed

But, eventually we'll have DSL in our cars hehe
