The last auction ended before the first negative feedback was left. So when these people won the auctions, the seller still would have had all positive feedback. They wern't to know.

All feedback seemed pretty good until September. I wonder if he was a victim of identity theft or something along those lines.

damn, i remember one powerseller got into a car accident, and he had about few hundred bad feedbacks, obvioulsy no longer registered.

That actually happened too me. (Not getting busted, or imprisonment)
I bought something from eBay, feedback looked good, never got the item. Checked back on the feedback later, and it was horrible. Like the seller died or something...nobody got their items.
