Car Audio and Electronics photo shoot
Welp, after much ado, the photo shoot happened today, finally.
With all of the shows here recently, things were pretty hectic in trying to set up dates for this thing.
I don't know yet when the article will be printed.
Anywho, some people might find it interesting to see how all of this is done, so here's a link to a few pics that I took of the process.

Enjoy!

Looks good! Where did you take those pics? Were you around the DFW area? I'd like to see your car sometime in person, looks great!

Yes, I'm in the D/FW area. McKinney to be exact.
Took the pics on the back side of the set of 4 buildings on the west side of the North Dallas Tollway. I want to say they were south of Parker.
You should try to make it to one of our Dallas meets!

thanks a lot turbo!
we never expected the work we did in our own garage at our own house, on our own time to turn so many heads.
I can only hope that the pics are big enough that the mp3car.com sticker shows up!

thanks!
I highly doubt the car will make the cover, it's a very simple install, not flashy at all. I'm sure that what ever car does make the cover will be WELL deserved. I've talked with Ben Oh about the article and filled out some forms that they have sent me. I've been sure to mention mp3car.com in there as much as possible without being stupid...lol
Hopefully they will catch the hint....hehehe

Unfortunately, in that image, I wasn't able to get a good shot. I didn't have a tripod set up. With the low light situation and the fact that I had to shoot without a flash, I couldn't hold the camera steady enough for the longer exposure time.
I couldn't use a flash because the lighting that he had set-up would go off with my flash. All of the lights that he had used an electronic eye that once they sensed a flash, they would (through capacitive discharge) get really bright really quickly and would signal his camera to take a picture.
Here pretty soon though, I will get better pictures of the back of the car, since I don't yet have any....lol

Works for me at work and at home, as well as for others I sent the link to yesterday.
Perhaps this direct link would work: http://www.mj-garage.com/pics/%A9CEdwards_2006_VW.mov
But your browser should change it automatically.
You'll need quick time to view it.
