ugh, i feel for you. my wife's car got stolen a couple years ago. i put her a brand new receiver in as a birthday present, and i really went balls to the wall making sure no one could get it out without taking half the dash apart. the downside? they stole the entire car. who the hell steals an 87 oldsmobile?
funny side note that might put a smile on your face in such a ****ty time. we went to the drive-in the night before, and had KFC. i figured i'd clean the car out next morning, so i left the bucket in the car along with all the other mess. when we got the car back, the pieces of crap had EATEN MY CHICKEN. so now i put forth the question not only who steals an old olds, but who the hell eats chicken that was laying in a car they steal?

But by the time you add up the screen, the speakers, the amp, your golf clubs that were a Christmas present from last year, your mp3 player, the case of 48 CD's you had, and your tools, its probably worth making a claim.

LMFAO! Not funny, but so true.
And Edrex, I don't think my full coverage covered any of the "extras" since I didnt pay a special premium for that. Atleast thats the jist Im getting, but I'll definately get back to you guys.

If you have Homeowners or Renters insurance it should all be covered. If you just have car insurance you might still get lucky.

Most Car insurance policies, if you are covered for theft of the vehicle, will cover theft of anything MOUNTED INSIDE THE CAR, but not left in the car. Stuff left in your car, would be covered under a homeowners or renters insurance policy.
If you are not covered by the car insurance, you can try claiming from your homeowners/renters insurance company.
If you have none, well then, you are SOL, sorry.
