Car PC related injuries.

Just a thought, who has done themself the most harm doing a car pc related task................

I think I'm a record holder, but no doubt as more people in this hobby lose fingers etc we should set up a top 10 etc, so I want to start it off, rules are....

1) it must be almost non fatal, or posted by a remaining loved one, if they so wish....

2) it must be related 100% to doing something for your car pc, not say losing a finger in the escalator at walmart while shopping for a tube of glue for the car pc.........

3) It must not be an injury caused by your car pc / modding activity to a friend, unless they were helping you, and then they must post their own injury!

4) no paper cuts or 'look the pins on the motherboard stuck my thumb' wimps need post....

So, without further hanginf around, heres my injury!, how not to open a little plastic box with an inverter in doing a button backlight mod for the TS

Dont click links if you dont like cuts held together with 18 external stiches and 4 inside....

I have not posted images direct so as to scare the wimpish.

Ouch, you win, by a long way. I think I burnt myself a few times whilst soldering, but that's all.

Ouch!

The only real pc related injury so far was on my first build. I had a 2.5" to 3.5" HDD converter and it fell off the work table. I was walking bare foot, and stepped on it. Almost every pin went in to the hilt. Hurt like hell. Was really hard to pull out too, with all the pins it was in there very snug.

I had a toolbox fall directly onto my head from the very top shelf in my garage, maybe 10 feet up. I was incredibly lucky, the toolbox managed to hit my head facing absolutely perfectly straight forward and contacting directly in the center. So basically I dented the toolbox with my head and was stunned. Had the corner of the toolbox been forward, I might have had some severe injuries, sharp corner plus no weight distribution is not fun.

One time my work area in my room was messy and I triped over my ampie case and I was already having a bad day so I kicked my bed in rage and hurt my foot.
