I half expected this to be a spammer thread for viagra. Not sure why, but I really did expect it to have nothing to do with SH's death.

Maybe this is the wrong crowd, but I didn't think he deserved it. He has done no worse than many other foreign dictators, or <cough> local <cough> Bush <cough> in my opinion. All this is going to do is put him on a pedestal and there will be more violence in his name. He knew how to run that country, and now nobody alive does. Sad really.
Usually I get the same "get out of our country" and "support our troops you god damned hippie" whenever I voice my opinion on this matter, and I won't be surprised if I hear it some more...
