I'm not lost... Or at least i think so...
Hey guys, it's been forever since i posted here.
New life, new beginnings, and new chores i guess...
I quit my office job in Mt Vernon, NY and moved to, um... wherever basicly, b/c i'm a truckdriver now. lol...
I drive this beauty (attached image), and have virtually no time for the internet. I'm not without though, i have a Sprint aircard, and a floor mount for my laptop that i use for GPS routing, so don't think i forgot all about you guys. I have to get back into the game, and start picking up the contacts where i left them off.
So yeah, i live on the road right now, and am home only on the weekends, so time is tight, but i'll be back sometime, and i'll be back big time.
Smaller updates, Passat sold, had a POS 93 sentra, wich isi n the proicess of being dismanteled, bought my wife a brand new 06 crv half a year ago, and now that's the only car we have. And my truck. although it's a company truck, and i "shouldn't" be doing any mods to it, I already installed my own sirius radio (hardwired and everything )
cool to be sort-of-back.
cheers
BND

Welcome back.
Hope you're not gonna put the computer in the trunk - don't think cables will stretch that far. At least you shouldn't have problem with space to put the PC.

Y thanks for the warm welcome.
I'm in NC right now, and god only knows where i'll be tomorrow. I'm starting to get my plans together, and mauybe if we have a meet somewhere i can show up with my new rig. lol
I've been doing good, working hard on progressing, and making end meet, things happen, so rigjht now life is good. This new job should make me close to double what i made in my previous job, and maybe by the end of the year, i can send my wife back to school. Healthcare here she comes.
Many say i've grown up more, but you guys know me better than that... lol
So yeah, if you guys want, i can post more pics. It took me almost 4 months to get to this point, and it was a hard learing curve, but it's all gonna pay off in the end. 3 months of training, and i have keys to an almost brand new company truck, and start making some serious money. big investment, so please bear with me and be patient
Thx for tuning in, i'll be here all week, come again.
Oh and one from the trucking world: Git 'er done!
i'm frequenting this site now (and the forum in specific) www.classadrivers.com
cheers

If you stop by "Route 66, the largest truck stop in the world" you should pick up some of those Hungry-Man lasagnas that cook themselves! It comes with chemical packets and a cooking plate, so you put the lasagna on top, and mix the chemicals on the bottom. It heats up and cooks it! Pretty cool.

When I was in the army we had these packets of food , we had to boil water and put them in. The food tasted like crap , it was the sort of food that was in a box for 5 years before you get to eat it.
Anyways, tons of people would get food poisoning from eating that crap. Im guessing they add those chemicals directly in the food
Oh and we got random rations of foods, so some people would fight others to get their food lol. Some of them didn't taste bad, like the ham/pineapple breakfast.

Really? Cool! I didn't know that. We drive cross country all the time, all the only stop we have seen them in was the Route 66 one! I can take pics of the 1 I have... I had one. Never again will I eat one, but I will keep them because the expiration date is like 50 years from now!
