Also is this program able to run .flv files and .rm files. Is video able to go to full screen automatically after a couple of sec or do I have to click on the screen. I change all the icon in the front and even the splash screen to my car logo. Easy to configure and what kind of media player is being use to control. Will there me implementation of visual like using Milkdrop in Winamp for visual. this kind of remind me of Mobile Media Center. Also as for phone can picture be added to the caller. I want to know what kind of media player is being use so I can implement my salling clicker software to control the program.

Thanks for your reply, I have been testing again today and I'm really excited about this frontend.
A few things I hope you can answer..

When no music is playing and I am browsing music at the root folder (eg. C:\Music) Is it possible to make the 'Shuffle' button load all tracks from folders and mix them ? at the moment shuffle only works if I am browsing inside a folder where I can see the music files.
Is it possible to turn off modules from the home screen (eg. I don't use Relays & Radio.. so can I remove those buttons ?
You said album art is used, but it only appears when the track is playing.. can I view albums using cover art instead of the folder names ? (using the folder.jpg in each music folder)
And lastly, is there a skin editor available? I'd like to have a go at modifying/creating some skins.

You have to edit the ini file if u want to take away the buttons. I edited the whole thing =) how fun aint it.

Did some more testing with this FE.

Things I notice.

Volume control should state at the state that it was when shut down. (Just my 2 cent on this one)
Volume should go up by increment of 5 or 10 not 1 at a time.
Same thing happen when you go back to music.
When playing videos if you switch file too much the program crash.
Minimizing of the FE is funky. When you min it, it goes to the taskbar but when you click the program on the taskbar it go to another state. then you have to click the state the was created when you click on the taskbar for it to come back to full Screen.
Annoying Radio screen comes up in the beginning, that need to go away.
Need support for Silab radio.
I am using a wm5 device. I get an error when loading the phone book.
Embedding Iguidance is ugly it show the Title bar.

Last all the error is in german.

All of the above for me too, except the fading volume.. i think its a nice feature, maybe it should fade up a little faster though..
My volume mutes every time I switch between music/video.. and when I restart the program.
I'm using a Wm6 device, but haven't had chance to test it with this yet, I will report back on my findings once I have tested it.

tn6478: Sounds like you are doing some skinning on this baby, any chance you can post your mods once complete so we can all take a look?

Oh i am not skinning this baby. I am just changing Icons and wording on this skin. Like Cave Live on the front I took that one out and made it blank. The UHr on the clock i took that out too. The splash screen I change that too. Its al lin the live.ini. Removing words to make it american friendly that all. As for the volume muting wise i think i got that figure out by following the direction listed in page 1. This kinda look like CDR iphone skin so i change most of the icon to look like CDR iphone skin. But this FE is still very buggy for playing Video wise.

-No mediaplayer to control. We have an own audioengine called fmod. No WMP-Player or other needed for cAVe.
-fly and rm files we must look. Dont tested.
-Click on videoscreen is the function at the moment. With time we can do in future updates.
-show here a screenshot of our new screens. I am interested to look.
-yes, callerpics can be added : you have to make a folder \Phone inside cAVe folder. There you must save phonenumber.jpg such like 0282772625222.jpg
You can click on callerpic for fullscreen, too also such audiocover and radiocover.
-What is "salling clicker" ? Which kind of control is it ? Do you have a homepage-link for information ?

- not the shufflebutton do that. You select one folder bei clicking once in the list within folders or folders and files. A one-click on music plays it, a one-click on folder select folder only, goes not in.
So, now if one folder is select you touch "Search"button and then the files come up in list , if its ready you touch shuffle and the list will be mixed
-i mean that if there is one jpg-file (name is egal) in a albumfolder, then it will be shown in audiomenu als coverpic above,left and you can click it to fullscreen to look. You dont need named it to foldername. The first jpg found in a folder and then playing an audiofile in the folder will show this jpg.
-No skineditor available at the moment. Our skinner has made it in Adobe Photoshop. We have our first release,so we spend all time for application. We are at the beginning with our program.

Oh, yes its in german. It means the time which is left as you have a call. Time, you are speaking with call.

We will translate in programm.

Ahhh, in Setup, we have made a translation file function. It comes with next update. So you can edit the text which is shown in Setup. I made it before in exe, but for us it was not the right way to do because we have had to versions exe files. Now the russians started with cAVe and the language i cant translate, so the english language file in future can be edit. If we become more controls in setup so it will update the file themself with standart text and the russians can change the new text line themselves.

Volume goes first 1,5 sec in 1% to have the possibility to turn 1% up/down.
You must set your touchscreen right, so that it gets OK. As "Alwaysdown"-mode if you hold the button down. Not as Click-mode.With Click-Mode the ramp couldnt work !
If you hold button down, so a timer gives all 100ms 1% up to 100%.
For state by the state you must set "resume volume" and for music you must set "resume", too. The resume will show last menu,last folders, last track and last status of track (if it was playing, then it will play after shutdown/start) .The trackposition will also resume.

Have you setup the phone ? If you have bluetooth driver installed, so it will set some Comports in system. The right one for connection should be setup in cAVe setup under phone-page. There you can set this comport.
This is necessary to connect an external phone over bluetooth support.

Please make a screenshot of broken Iguidance implementation. Is the navi-application always on top of screen ? Is the cAVe bar up? Lost cAVe bar ? I need input to fix. With 5 in germany most wanted GPS-apps we have had a copy to test. We dont have Iguidance.

Switching video crash cAVe ? Or video codec crashes ? Is there an error message or what happens? I need some info, too.

You must setup the mixer-page in cAVe setup.exe. On first page of this thread i have written an information about setup the mixer.
