Xlobby as carpc frontend?

I was wondering does anybody use Xlobby in car?

Ive been lately working on my HTPC and im simply charmed by this frontend, especially high degree of customization it allows, and easy skinning interface, which even Bear is able to use.

So ive been thinking mayby i should use it in car too... Anybody has any experience with it?

I use xlobby as front end in my car from the beginning and it works great. The combination of xlobby and girder is awesome, there is nothing i can't acomplise with them.

Yes, best feature of Xlobby is that it simply has no limitations. I havent yet implemented it into car... actually im currently still middle of process of finalizing it for my HTPC. but after ill get living room done i will certainly try to put it into my carpc.

Are u frequent in xlobby forums?

also, which skin are u using? did u custom made your own? or are u using adaptation of some of available xlobby skins?

I noticed in the features list on the xlobby website that you can have multiple clients controlling things and multiple sound zones. This may be useful in the carPC world for those looking to have headrest monitors that allow passengers to control their own entertainment. I'll keep my eye on this one...

I have been a frequent visitor of the xlobby forums in the time i was developing my own skin but since i have everything working i haven't been there in a year. You can try my skin if you like, but it is not easy to tweak it for your own system.
