NICE NEW Car PC software
N.I.C.E. - Night Industries Car Entertainment

CAR PC Software:
Hi everybody im develping a Car PC Software, im from Portugal and the project is open for coments.

In the next days i will post here screen shots and topics for comments and open for sugestions.


This project i developed because of my car. After looking at other softwares that didn't match what i wanted.

Especifications:

Hardware:
Xenarc 1040TS -- 10" VGA Touchscreen USB
InDash CarPC V2
USB GPS Receiver (Sirf 3 chipset)
other hardwares will be coming soon.

Software:
800x600 resolution for 10" touchscreen ( only)
can be tested on any PC.

I'm one person programming a new system for CAR PC if users dose't like my job please respect my work and stop posting stupid question. Thank you.
It will be freeware when it is done...

Login screen
First Screen - Biometric Login
This is part of the login module:
Click in the finger print area to start, this dosen't actually do anything but is cool to show of...
After completed the finger print, click on the key icon to go to the password screen or click on the shutdown icon to shutdown pc.

Password Login
This is the secound part of login.
The password is previous set, but can be change. If user enter the wrong passord it will show a msg of wrong password and it will go back to the
biometric screen.

Password Login
This is the correct password screen. User click on the enable login icon to go to the main menu.

Main Menu

Four main buttons to go to submenus, clock, traybar to minimaze aplications,
and shutdown icon.
Graphic 3D rotating jeep in a flash movie - it can be replaced to any car or
flash movie.
More options or to come in Main Menu....

This is nothing better than a hack of the login shell that XP already uses.

BTW - It's poor security to log into your system as Administrator.
