I downloaded the trial version and found it very easy to setup and use (trial version is fully functional...it just has a 20min shutdown timer...nice thing is you can set everything the way you want it and test it out and if you like it pay the registration and enter the reg code and keep all your settings instead of downloading a full version and re-doing everything...Unless someone can point me to a more robust front end that is as easy to setup as it is I WILL BE BUYING IT FOR MY FRONT END (in the process of building my car pc-a little at a time over the next couple of months)...I downloaded it and installed it on my carpc cpu and just used my mouse and my desktop monitor to test it with (If you install it on your desktop to play with it just don't have it install a shortcut in the startup directory or you will have to close it out every time you start the pc up.) Will try to let you know more when I get everything installed and really test it out with an actuall touch screen.

i purchased it last year and it works really well, the only issue i have with it is the fact i have to purchase v5.0 to get the OBDII feature($50USD) i think i should get a discounted if not free upgrade since i paid the same last year...

Do you have any mods for digital dash?

Do either of you have any mods or skins for digital Dash? I got to agree, by far the easiest interface.

Tell me all, i would like to know how you managed to skin it... Ive never really tried, the only thing that stopped me before was the whole $1,200 license to get your own custom skin made.

For that one, I just changed the background image! That easy.
I did remove one of the icons on the screen using the configuration button.

I wish I could do more work with this stuff.. Maybe someone can but I know nothing about this sorta stuff.

Good luck!

I have been using gnet for awhile and I like it. I have download and trialed allot of other front ends and this seems to suit my needs the best. Now there are some bugs and some things I would like to see changed. Unfortunately every time I email them I get a 'we will consider this for our next version' response. After getting that about 10 times on bugs and errors on the software, I was told that there is no plan on a newer version. So beware that it appears there will be no support and no new versions of this software.

But I am still happy with it and will continue to use it.
