If you are using RoadRunner as your frontend you can set it to run with the "ONRESUME" in Exectbl.ini
Not sure if other front ends have a similar function.
I will look into adding it as a direct option for future releases.

Cool thanks
I am using FreeIce so it doesn't have this option.
The idea I had last night and what brought me to this thread was this. I want to take a picture with a webcam every time my car is started or computer comes on. Then upload it to a server. This could either be used in case my car was stolen or else it could be like an automatic pic a day system. Then I would want the webcam to record video until the correct code is punched in and upload it to a server. Is this possible?

Well the program will certainly record a video (When it does this is user settable, straight away, after a certain time or after a number of incorrect entries.)
It doesn't do a single image yet and uploading isn't available yet.
It can start another program or batch file upon incorrect code entry and a seperate one on corrct code entry, so third party programs can be used to do whatever.
I will be adding tracking ability, either through my own tracking system or by connecting to the GPSgate one.
The new version when I release it will have the ability to interface to the MS fingerprint scanner(s).

That sounds cool. I will start playing with it and see what I can get going. The only thing I wonder about is if someone steals the car why would they try to punch in a code if they don't know what it is? That's why I want it to record video right away and upload it after a set amount of time if no code is entered at all, or if an incorrect code is entered.
Or maybe I could hook the ignition into the pc and the car won't start unless the correct code is entered. Interesting.
I have a fusion brain on the way so it is definitely doable.

Just a teaser. (no pics though, because there is nothing really to see)
Version 1.4x will have
Automatic pop up when resuming from standby/hibernation - this can be switched off if not required.
Authentication by USB memory stick, either by inserting when code required or by being left in.

Any finger print scanner?

Hi Enforcer
Great work.
I'm putting my car pc project together and was a bit worried about the security side incase the car got stolen and I think this should work a charm for what I need.
Will this work with any finger print scanner, or just the Microsoft one? The MS one is pretty boring looking, but I found this one, which would look much more in place in my car.

Keep up the good work man.

Not sure if it will work, as I have only tested on the microsoft one.
The microsoft one comes with software which allows it to work with most software that has a password input.
I would assume that one does the same, but without having in front of me I couldn't say for sure.
