I have been incredibally busy (except for when I am at work and I can't do any programming while at work) with school so I didn't add the custom image option but I spent a few minutes tonight adding the lock window dragging option.
I'll try to get around to your other request this weekend.

No problem.
I actually got it done before I said I would. Had some time between classes today.
Let me know if there is anything else.

First question...
Why does it have a red line through it?
Second...
When using two PNG files... both with transparency... it seems the rollover image is being layerd on top of the original one over and over again and not being removed really.
Third...
Could a third image be used for when your holding the mouse button down on the button? I personnaly wont be using the rollover image much as it would just stay on the rollover image if you dont move the cursor back off the button.

Though I'm impressed in your speedy delivery of both the locking the position and the image buttons! Very cool! I'm lovin it!

I put the red line there so you could see where the two panels were divided. If you want I can remove it if you are using a background image.
Could you possibly send me the images you are using so I can test them out? I'll PM you my email address.
I was kind of thinking the same thing with the third image. I think I will remove the mouseover image and just change it to the mouse button down image.
Another thing I was thinking about is having an option to hide the mouse cursor.
And another thing I was thinking about changing is removing the double click and change it to holding the button down for 2 seconds or something. I have noticed that some single/double click combinations don't work very well together because as far as I know there really isn't a way to take in a double click without first taking in the single click. So if you have the single click set to task manager and double click set to open another program and you double click it will open the task manager along with the other program. The AltTab/Minimize all combo works just fine though. What do you think?

Thanks Mofo

Brady I think this is the small utility I have been searching for. One request in regards to the red line separating the pane. I think it is a good idea to have separation but if I was to elect both panes to have the same identical function maybe the red line could go away. I really only need it to Alt-Tab so I set the left and right pane to single click alt-tab and no doube click.

Also uses up 10M of memory resources. Not sure if this is right.

*edit* actually the resource usage jumps around as I move the button around the screen I've seen it anywhere from 8M up to 11M. Strange.

Thanks,
Chuck

There is a new update with your request. Sorry about the memory usage. C# applications seem to use a lot of memory for some reason. I am going to do a code overhaul sometime soon and I'll make sure to clean it up as much as I can. Let me know if you want anything else done to it.

This is similar to this neat program so I thought id ask here. Is there a way to put a small icon or something like this, in the corner of the screen that can be assigned to a keyboard key? like, I have a winamp plugin that I just love, but I need to press F11 to get the winamp controls up inside the visualization. I dont have the keyboard plugged in 99% of the time, so I cant turn it on. Can a small opaque box be put in the screen assigned to F11 so when I press it, it comes up?

Or, another way, is there a program that I can assign another key, such as a number on my keypad....to F11?

Probably the answer to this elswhere in this huge...huge.....huge website hehehe

Thanks

USING KEYSTROKES:
From MSDN

Each key is represented by one or more characters. To specify a single keyboard character, use the character itself. For example, to represent the letter A, pass in the string "A" to the method. To represent more than one character, append each additional character to the one preceding it. To represent the letters A, B, and C, specify the parameter as "ABC".

The plus sign (+), caret (^), percent sign (%), tilde (~), and parentheses () have special meanings to SendKeys. To specify one of these characters, enclose it within braces ({}). For example, to specify the plus sign, use "{+}". To specify brace characters, use "{{}" and "{}}". Brackets ([ ]) have no special meaning to SendKeys, but you must enclose them in braces. In other applications, brackets do have a special meaning that might be significant when dynamic data exchange (DDE) occurs.

To specify characters that aren't displayed when you press a key, such as ENTER or TAB, and keys that represent actions rather than characters, use the codes in the following table.
Key Code
BACKSPACE {BACKSPACE}, {BS}, or {BKSP}
BREAK {BREAK}
CAPS LOCK {CAPSLOCK}
DEL or DELETE {DELETE} or {DEL}
DOWN ARROW {DOWN}
END {END}
ENTER {ENTER}or ~
ESC {ESC}
HELP {HELP}
HOME {HOME}
INS or INSERT {INSERT} or {INS}
LEFT ARROW {LEFT}
NUM LOCK {NUMLOCK}
PAGE DOWN {PGDN}
PAGE UP {PGUP}
PRINT SCREEN {PRTSC} (reserved for future use)
RIGHT ARROW {RIGHT}
SCROLL LOCK {SCROLLLOCK}
TAB {TAB}
UP ARROW {UP}
F1 {F1}
F2 {F2}
F3 {F3}
F4 {F4}
F5 {F5}
F6 {F6}
F7 {F7}
F8 {F8}
F9 {F9}
F10 {F10}
F11 {F11}
F12 {F12}
F13 {F13}
F14 {F14}
F15 {F15}
F16 {F16}
Keypad add {ADD}
Keypad subtract {SUBTRACT}
Keypad multiply {MULTIPLY}
Keypad divide {DIVIDE}

To specify keys combined with any combination of the SHIFT, CTRL, and ALT keys, precede the key code with one or more of the following codes.
Key Code
SHIFT +
CTRL ^
ALT %

To specify that any combination of SHIFT, CTRL, and ALT should be held down while several other keys are pressed, enclose the code for those keys in parentheses. For example, to specify to hold down SHIFT while E and C are pressed, use "+(EC)". To specify to hold down SHIFT while E is pressed, followed by C without SHIFT, use "+EC".

To specify repeating keys, use the form {key number}. You must put a space between key and number. For example, {LEFT 42} means press the LEFT ARROW key 42 times; {h 10} means press H 10 times.

*shrug* ok I GIVE UP. I cant get this thing to work. First I had a MCSROEE.DLL file error, I went and and got that, then I got a .NET framework error....what ever that means! This was on my work PC. (win98 V2)
That was just to try it out.
Then I thought, Might as well try it on my car PC running VIA M10 000 and xenarc screen and XP professional.
No good, crashes out and gives some weird exeption fault error.

What the **** am I doing wrong?????

If you read the original post it says: ***Requires the .NET Framework 1.1

You can download it here: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...6/dotnetfx.exe
Also, make sure you redownload AltTabber again, I just made another update to the send keys part.
