ooo wow, I like that match up with Centrafuse, especially since I use centrafuse. While I like the easy to use touchscreen buttons, I also like having map visibility. I'm not sure if anybody asked this, but is there a way to make transparent buttons for MENU, +, -, etc ?? I'd like to have a solid border, but make the inside transparent with just the text or something.

How about the buttons fade out when your not touching them? (As a toggle)
ProphetX: road runner support is somewhat unstable right now, but if you got the alpha 4 posted on page 5 or 6, you should be able to select that as the external GPS program and set window name to "igm". Its all in the readme.

This seems to be a result of the sound effect for clicking; the program pauses until the sound is played. Ill see if i can get the sound to play in background.

requests/suggestions:
With iGmod you can no longer navigate the menus through the use of the Arrow keys, can you restore that feature.
you also got rid of the street number range that is displayed after you type the name of the road. This is very helpful when i dont know the exact house number.

sounds even slicker!! Just so long as I can actually see most the map when not interfacing with it...I mean, that's what it's there for right?
and yea, I think there is a little bit longer delay with the sounds added. Although I do like the sound, so if you get it working in the background, that's even better.

In the copy im testing the sound files play in background and everything is snappy again.

Request for the keyboard support enqueued. Im not sure how I am going to handle that, probably be part of beta 3 though.
The street number range thing is tough because its not any physical windows control that I can read the contents of; the best way I can describe it working is they are painting directly onto the window itself the text. I am working on a text recognition function right now to read the fonts of what iGuidance is writing so I can make the selection list more snappy/look better and make the zoom speed truetype.
Updates: As soon as I make the features in alpha 4 stable (and add some ability to edit font/label colors in the skins) I will release it as beta 2. The fadeing out buttons and the keyboard support will wait till beta 3 I think, which is looking 2 or 3 weeks away.

I like the whole idea, especially the transparent direction arrow in the middle of the screen.

Been working hard on attempting to improve stability and other features. The current result is alpha 5:
http://igmod.iamjeremy.com/alpha5.rar
http://sterlingv.com/users/purdoom/alpha5.rar
What is new/different:
-Support for editing the fonts in the skin file.
Code:
Use these commands somewhere in the definiton for a button:
FONT (fontname)
FONTCOLOR (R) (G) (B)
FONTSIZE (integer)
BACKCOLOR (R) (G) (B)
And for menus, use:
MENUFONT (fontname)
MENUFONTCOLOR (R) (G) (B)
MENUFONTSIZE (integer)
MENUBACKCOLOR (R) (G) (B)
Where R,G,B are values from 0 to 255.
(this code is used a little in the blueice skin if you need an example)
-Prettier GPS info integration (ill put screenshots in beta 2 release)
-Special script included for removal of the menu and mute icons on the main iguidance display so igmod can skin more effectively (more on this here)
- Embedding of buttons onto the iguidance window redesigned. Its a much better way to do it then I previousally was using.
-BlueIce skin (work in progress) included for your ammusment.
-Possibly some other stuff, im not quite sure what I missed listing.
Next on the todo list is redesign of menu transitions and recovery logic for when the program does a command but it never arrives at the appropriate menu.
Please test for stability, its a whole new method of handling the buttons and I hope this gets rid of the flickering issues some people have.

I can't wait to test it out.

Dissapointing. It works for me... but the speed zoom was one of the things I had to redo this version. Ill take a look at it again when I get some freetime but I am basically doing stuff for the next 3 days now so ill wait for more bug reports.
