Thats not a behavior of igmod but of RR when the cpu is at high load. Post your problem in the RR forum after searching for the answers.

Event sounds (wav files) may be cool, but I'd like to see the current app features running nicely first. (Like when I click poi, restaurant, all, city: after I enter the name it says "loading database" but no results are ever posted.)

Also, is there a way to kill igmod upon exit of RR? It leaves igmod running and the area it took on the screen is left with an image of the last RR screen instead of showing the desktop (sorry if this has been covered elsewhere).

Also, why do igmod menus not show up using VNC? It works ok with PCAnywhere.

Use realvnc. It works better than whatever your using (tightvnc?) anyway.

Edit: Its the layered menus that are screwing you over (if you don't know what that is, dont worry. Its just a window being rendered moreso in hardware than software)

So I finally got around to playing with the latest release of reloaded. Seems ok for the first part...and I see the issue with embedding in Centrafuse 1.5. It's not too bad except for in Full screen where the bottom gets chopped off. Another thing I don't have is the GPS info toggle part replacing the menu button like it did before. Instead, it's the old fashioned gps info box. I like having the GPS info up full time as I park in an underground parking structure so I have to re-lock on everyday I drive out, but it's not fun with the big gps info box hehe.

Yea, its just not implemented yet. It will end up docking in the upper right I think.

I liked it sitting over the menu button personally, trying to clear up the clutter so I can SEE something on my lil screen hehe... Oh yea, that reminds me, any chance we can get transparent buttons?

I could do it, but it wouldn't look quite as sexy as RPMV4's variable transparency PNGs. It would be one global transparency.

Idk how i am going to redesign the skin to make room for the sats in the lower left, that whole area is pretty occupied as it is

ill think it over im sure when I should be listening to my professors tommorow.

now i dunno much about this stuff... but if you find out how to pull sat info wouldnt that mean we'd be able to eventually display that info in our front ends? I think thats something we could actually leave out of igmod and use the available (and often unused) space in the front end (just like freedrive and map monkey do). Just my opinion though.

Would be a piece of cake to stick anywhere you want it. What I need to do that is a. how to find the HWND of the parent window and b. coordinates for where in the window to put it.

Anyone want to make a concept photoshop of one way this would look?

PurDOOM: you mean you can stick this info over the FRONTEND area? As in, the header of CF at the top? I don't think this is possible with iGmod, is it?!

Also, I think what is being asked is whether you can pull the data, and then overlay it on the frontend area. So, you would have to grab values from memory, no?

Maybe I missed this feature somewhere, but is it intentional for the Speed/ETA/Dest/Rem box to toggle between each one when you have a route set?? It's kinda nice, but sometimes makes me take my eyes off the road a bit waiting for it to toggle to ETA hehe...
