Nice work, Purdoom.

I'm running it on IG 2.1.2 and so far it's pretty stable, with the exception of the business POI issue mentioned above. I have crashed it a couple of times doing other things and I'll see if I can reproduce those.

Has anyone run patchig on 2.1.2?

patchig wont work on 2.1.2 yet because I havent got my hands on 2.1.2 yet .

I had it crash when I pressed cancel right after I hit navigate on the favorites list. I supppose my new menu navigation code isnt as bullet proof as I thought
.

Yea, back to work on a couple of things. I hate how the zoomed in next turn indicator operates in CF as well (stays on top even if you switch CF tabs) so I am going to have to fix that.

I tried to re-open it via iGmod2 and was then presented with a white screen with iGmod buttons around it.

I had a similar problem. I then went into task manager and saw that IGuidance.exe was still loaded even though there were no screens showing. PURDoom briefly mentioned that in his readme.txt. Once I terminated it, I was able to get back to normal. If it happens again you may want to go to taskmanager to make sure IGuidance isn't still loaded.

hmm, i wish it was as easy for me to open up task manager and kill iGuidance to get it working again, but for me, I've rebooted so I'm pretty sure that iGuidance wasn't open before loading iGmod2. *shruggle*

Ahh, well, when there were few errors posted for alpha 8 I was under the assumption beta 2 was pretty flawless. But sense thats not the case, give me a couple days to fiddle with the code and see whats going on.

Given time this app will be stable. Except for new skins, im not adding any new features and am just working at bringing stability to the code. My eventuall goal is for it to work as if it was part of centrafuse (and other front ends) rather than an extension.

i apologize for not getting back to you with the video, purdoom. my gf left town with the camera, so i wouldn't have had a chance to show you what was going on with alpha8 until today anyway.

Very Nice work.

Made a donation not what the program is worth just what i can afford right now.

I have a question, is there a way to code one of the custom buttons to exit the applicatin pass alt - f4 to it. I played a bit with the skin file but i was unable to do it.

Thanks great program makes ig very usable

Has anyone noticed that iGmod makes the computer fail coming out of hibernation every other time or so?

I havent been using hibernation in my car for the last few weeks, so I havent noticed. Ill jot it on the todo list of things that need to be acomplished to make the program more stable.

TY for your donation

I dont have an alt-f4 key programmed in to the function that handles keypresses now. I was loosley toying with the idea of adding an exit button to the menu somewhere myself anyway. Ill program it in and show you what action to add to the skin by the "stable" rerelease.

Oh and also thanks for kbreeden's donation! All this support from you guys and I think ill have to devote more time to the project. It will run silky smooth by the time I move on to my next hobby project, even if it means I have to do a complete rewrite of the code to acomplish it

I guess it would be helpful to PURDooM for us to post bugs/stability issues as we come across them.

I toggled satellite information and now can't get rid of it and get back to the menu button. Everytime I click on the box with the satellite information, I get a white screen.

Kbrededen, please send me an instant message on that. I cant seem to recreate the problem. (IM username canopenerofevil on aim).

Also, for the time being it should be noted that if iguidance starts with the gps info window open then igmod will integrate it in, so if its a problem the short term solution is to open iguidance, close the gps info, and quit IG.

Progress ive made so far today:
-Fixed resturants and businesses button bugs (they now use the old key based method to select the menu).
-The white screen was caused by a glitch in integrating IG into igmod where IG would stay minimized. Now the program keeps iguidance restored into the igmod window.
-If for some odd reason IG crashes (or just generally closes) rather than the program closing itself, it restarts iguidance and reintegrates it
-Please wait dialog made for menu commands that take some time to execute (such as go to home or go to gas)
-Fixed minor glitches related to zoomed in view on route lists's next turn overlay and distance to next turn indicator
-Added END_PROGRAM command to supported skin actions (requested by a user)
-Started working on letting igmod make a debug log of everything it does so I can better see what happens when other people report issues with IGmod

Debug log looks a bit like this:
Code:
27:48:19> Program starting 27:48:19> Executing ReadIni() 27:48:19> Executing LoadSkin() 27:48:19> Executing ParseSkin() 27:48:19> Load FrmDesktop 27:48:19> Checking for another igmod in memory... 27:48:19> No other igmod, continuing 27:48:20> Set nag screen always on top 27:48:20> Set window name to igm (now we may be integrated into CF) 27:48:20> Loading buttonlayer images... 27:48:20> Loading button C:\Documents and Settings\Brian\Desktop\Jul 05 Backup Base\Desktop\Capture\skins\BlueIce\\images\cfmenuup.bmp 27:48:20> Loading button C:\Documents and Settings\Brian\Desktop\Jul 05 Backup Base\Desktop\Capture\skins\BlueIce\\images\zoom-up.bmp

Also, I think ill call beta 3 the stable release of beta 2.

okay after my beta testing here are the bugs I found with road runner:

(1) When I try to load any list of anything... favorites, recent, poi it comes up blank unless I click up or down, at which point it starts to work
(2) The speed thing on the bottom right likes to resize alot
(3) The "route" screen isn't skinned.
