+ mmm I love the statup options and the bigness.
- it seems to flicker alot and come back and forward when I do things.
- I also have built in buttons into my road runner that are supposed to make it repeat last statement or volume up/volume down... sutff like that, but that seems to become intermittently functional once igmod comes in the picture... can you make igmod maybe accept a keyboard command somehow... or maybe my setup for road runner is wrong. It might be possible this problem is my fault, I'm still looking into it.
- it needs a busy cursor or something after certain actions

I could make igmod pass all keyboard events it gets right onto whatever foreground iguidance window is open. This would also make the OSK keyboard cappable.

Implemented (It says please wait on longer commands now)

The please wait works great, its relatively smooth except for the loading of lists of addresses. Now I'm just gonna hafta make a custom skin for it and use it. I've made a temp skin of a few buttons so it maintains the look of the rest of the interface. One complaint is that the speed thing shows up outta place.

This program is a pain in the *** to get everything scripted right... now that I have the menus cooperating again i seem to have somehow broke the add and remove favorites functionality.
Ill have a semistable release soon.
ALSO... I have 2.1.2 EU so when I get a chance ill adapt that into the code.

aight, I hat eto keep complainin about stuff, but I've been using igmod 2 in my car and yo serious... the POI feature is horrible to use. The scrollable list just doesn't work right. Could you possibly make it a screen with an OSK just like iguidance normally does it? I was looking to go somewhere, I actually had to exit outta road runner, load iguidance manually, map out the POI, exit outta iguidance, reload road runner and then load the address for the POI from the recent list... kinda annoying

*confused* what do you mean? how does the scroll list screw up?
Where where you trying to go?
Oh, and the critisisms are just fine. It gives me a nice list of things that need fixing.

I dont know if it's been mentioned or not, but what do you think of a auto zoom feature? so say your going 20mph it zooms to a certain level, then when your going 80mph it zooms out further?

I would like that myself (I actually wanted to put that in a while back) but first I need to be able to tell what the speed of the car is. Perhaps if you had a comport splitter running igmod could interface with the gps reciever output and tell what the speed is.

iG does tell you what the speed is, but it isn't possible at this point to read that value from memory, which is why iGMod uses magnification to legibly display the speed..

hmm, so looks as if that would be are only option, I would be willing to use a com splitter, because that is the one function I really like from D3, the auto zoom, because when your on the highway it's much better to be a ways off.

I think a lot of people might begin using XPORT3, which is a com splitter than resolves the GPS Hibernation issues.
That said, some might be using the com splitter anyways, just for hibernation fix, and not to trully split ports...

Feel free to mess with this:
http://www.sterlingv.com/users/purdoom/beta21d.zip
Im not sure, it feels a tad bit sluggish on processing some of the commands from buttons on the map, but its the most stable thing I have right now.
(Gotta get this out there so I can spend the rest of the day studying for classes)
Just so everyone knows, the largest bug is a lack of ability to add / edit favorites.

if I click on menu and then points of interest, and then pick a category, it gives me a pretty extensive lisf of items. scrolling down through this list to try to find a specific thing I'm looking for is almost impossible. I think it would be alot better if I could search that list, as iguidance does by default w/o gmod.

PURDooM,
I downloaded the latest version you posted. It still hangs when I go to restaurants in POI. I mention this only because you stated in an earlier post that you had resolved this issue.
