Yeah, I don't really want the maps as much as I want the map tiles (build a cache full of RLE images) and the routing data that can be provided by google. The end result will use google maps data, but the interface will be new.

Ive tried searching this thread for this problem, but have not found it yet. So, I think that this may be a new bug in igmod.
Im trying to embed igmod in RoadRunner. The embedding works but with a slight problem as described below.
Versions: RR version dated 5-02-06
igmod: beta 2 preview 4
Iguidance: 2.1.3
The first pic is Igmod running in standalone. It works fine, no problems. All the menus work correctly as expected.
The second pic is igmod running embedded in roadrunner. The app starts fine but then a window titled "WndRecieveiGmod" opens immediately with some buttons on it. This window can be closed and the igmod runs embedded just fine. Just wondering why this window opens in the first place while running embedded. I have the apps windows name in RR as "iGmod".
I believe this to be a bug.

the problem is you arent using the full window name for the gps window in road runner; try using the phrase iGmod Reloaded rather than just igmod.

you didnt search enough, check page 30 of this thread.
updated info for purdoom:
preview4 still working great, on rare occasions it does hang when hybernating. only very rare occasions. I too also have the exact prob thanatos has, set to off, and it still shows that little square. Figure I better chime in.

Before you take on Google maps, can you finish the old poi bug in igmod first? I just took a trip to Vegas and although poi showed me the Red Rock Canyons, when I clicked "next" to nav to it the menus just went away and I was just back at the map.
Also, did igmod ever get to a "skinnable" state?

Its very skinnable, even has a skin editor, and suffering massive caffiene withdrawl after having a monster energy drink a day for the last 2 weeks so I am in no condition to make calls on the POI stuff, the answer is probably

Anyone have similar experiences? I miss not being able to use this!

Hi!
I've big problem with 2.1.2 EU and preview 4:
route list windows appear and disappear, appear and disappear, and all become extremely noisly.
Any solution?
I'm unable to close the route list windows.
