Why thank you, main website (link in signature), please put down on the paypal what you are actually donating for as some of the funds may have to be apportioned elsewhere.

I didn't really intend that for use in the car, it is just a quick mock up so you can find the cameras you want.

But I will take that on boadr and add it.

I suppose I could also make it skinnable when I make the main one skinnable as well.

Bear in mind this is just a beta of the concept., there's loads nore to come I hope.

************ Updated 1.0.1 version now available. ********

Traffic Cams v1.0.1 Beta

Instructions
------------

Extract from the zip to your Road Runner (or any Front End) folder. Run
TCSearch to find the the cameras you want. Press the button code for the camera
you want it to be. Then run Trafficams.exe. As long as you have internet
connection and the chosen cameras are operational the camera pics should appear.
Clicking on any pic will cause it to maximize, clicking again will go back to normal.

Adjust the amount of times between the program checking for updates by changing the
delay setting in the ini file. The iterval is in seconds. Most UK camera
only update every 5 to 8 minutes at present so a setting of 180 to 600 seconds is
advised. Bear in mind the shorter the delay the more CPU intensive the program will
be and also the more traffic you will have on your internet connection.

To embed in RR simply create a skin with an Application box. A,x,y,h,w,r,g,b
and then a calling button

B,x,y,w,h,"load;traffic.skin;Traffic Cam;$rrpath$Traffic Cams\Trafficams.exe;Trafficams"

Skinning the main Program
--------------------------

In the ini file there is a width and height option.

The skinning is very similar to Road Runner. The skin file is suffixed .eskin rather than
.skin however.

Graphic file line is prefixed with a G,.
Currently there are two buttons, PREV and NEXT which switch pages.
Two Labels DATE and TIME, Date and Time last attempt to update cameras.
Then there are the Camera lines.

C,x,y,w,h,Page,Camera Number

Page is the page and Camera Number relates to the cam number in the ini file.

The Maximized camera is denoted with a page of 0 and a camera number of 0

An example of the eskin file and graphics files which are suitable for the classic
iDrive skin are provided.

Future Of Traffic Cams
----------------------

More cameras from around the country to added to the database.
A central download location for the lastest database.
Add other countries.

This is excellent. Thanks again for another great app. Is there anything we can do to help with the camera database?

Well the first thing is find them.

The information I basically need is the website where they are located, I can usually work out the rest.

The other thing that will be useful for the future is GPS locations of the ones we already have. ie the Latitude and Longitude of where they are. I have it for most of the London ones and some of the others but not all of them.

Cheers
