phonecontrol requirements?

I installed phonecontrol.net and it pulls my system way way down and never fully loads.
Any ideas?
Surely you don't have to have a quad core/ 4GB Ram system to run this software.

Anxious to try it out. Looks to be awesome stuff on the site.
Are there any alternatives?

Thanks in advance.

No it runs fine on my 800mhz duron carputer which uses a stripped down xp, best bet is to run the wizard 1st and try to best match the settings to your phone, as soon as it has gone through the motions of connecting to your phone on the initial load its ok.

Once it is working ok in Road Runner there is support so that it doesnt load the interface graphics, using only the skin as its input (dial no, phonebook etc)

Other than that there is a program called freephone which im going to try seen as Phonecontrol.net is no longer supported, and you can longer buy licences after the inital trial

www.freedrive.co.uk (Look for a link there if you wanna try it)
