Maybe it's a good idea to ask TommieG about his experience with the T68i.. you may need a firmware update as well...?!

Do you have an ActiveX control by chance?
Really like the concept but I'm working on an interface that is pretty specific to my needs, and want to just include this functionality without executing another program.

Nope... it's all plain C# / .NET.
But take a look here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/software-software-development/29178-check-out-pc-cell-phone-sdk.html

Well... So far no luck... I plugged it back into my laptop and the headset stuff worked... Have you ever seen the headset profile not work with certain soundcards? I have an M10000 using the integrated, so it is pretty common... When in my car I see the headset profile connect up and stay connected.. All the audio comes through the speakers, but the phone never gets the audio from my mic... I guess I will try and find a bluetooth headset and pair that with my PC and then try and use it.. This would bypass my onboard soundcard all together right?
As for the callerid.. I was trying to understand what might be happening, but... I notice, like you did, that the number and name is recognized inside your logfile... So that leads me to believe that my phone has to be sending the correct information back to your software because your software is able to log the correct information... Does your callerid section query different than the section of code that writes the log? Seems like if it could write it in the log, you could display it on the screen..

I've heard about that behaviuor in connection with some BT Dongles. People have the Headset, can hear the voice of the caller but the mic isn't routed correct. So you may swap the BT Dongles of your Notebook and your CarPC.
I have a M10000 too and mine is working (D-Link Dongle).
<edit>
Forgot to say: A (real) Hedset and PhoCo won't work at the same time. You'll get the Message "connection already in use" or something like this.
This is belongs to the unability of having Point-to-Multipoint connections of almost every phone that's on the market these days.

Yes, I agree. As I said, I'm a bit confused about that myself... but I'll find out what it is... I'll just take a while, cause I have to finish up another job first

So most people are not using Bluetooth headsets because you can't use them at the same time? This is how I thought it worked... Do you use it is through your soundcard mic/speakers? The weird thing is, I am using the same BT Dongle from my laptop in my car and I get those results... It is a Belkin that is on the compatability list... I might try and take it back and get a D-Link...
Anyway... Thanks for all the help...
EDIT: I just went and exchanged my Belkin for a Dlink-DBT 120... Now I can at least rule the dongle out since its the one TommieG uses... I will give it a shot when I get home

USB Mic mounting question
I had a ton of problems with my analog mic input on my M10000 and finally decided to give up and buy a usb mic... It sounds a ton better and works great, but it seems like it might be hard to make it look good in the car.. I got this one..
http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...3249&pfp=srch1
It seems very similiar in design to the one you use zorro... Has anyone mounted one of these in their car? If so what did you do? Has anyone ever taken one of these apart and tried to mount it?
thanks

Yeah... I've demounted mine and built it into my Xenarc display Now my Display has an additional plug, where I connect the analog signal. The cable goes into my dashboard where the mainboard of the USB mic resides and also the USB hub.
It's working for the phone but it's not the best solution if you plan to do Speech Recognition as well. Besides... you'll loose your warranty

PhoCo isn't reducing the volume of the music, it's pausing the player. There is the <MainVolumeOnCall> tag which you can set but it's not meant to turn down the music, it's rather meant to turn down the callers voice for not getting feedbacks.
The other one you can correct easily by changing the ringtone.
I'm wondering why you need a ringtone at all? Isn't your the phone ringing?
I've did the ringtone for people who don't use a regular phone but a GSM module. These aren't able to ring
