It's a great piece of software. As a contractor, I know where Z is coming from, I would be doing exactly the same and eventually will be with our new products and various versions of our frontend. I do not know about you guys, but my bill collectors do not take IOU's

Bitholic- don`t think your situation applies in the same way.

Zorro`s product is one off which is worth buying, Your frontend at the moment imo is not worth paying for when you have other alternatives eg RR.

I read your request for testers which I was intending to do- will early downloaders be given a discount considering they are helping you? I and others wouldn`t be downloading your Frontend because we need it but to do you a favour and assist you to perfect it so to then for you to want full price would be a slap in the face, no?

You know i really think Zorro has one of the poorest attitudes i've ever seen on internet forums. To me it seems that you just don't really care too much about your users. If you plan on making it anywhere with this project of yours, you might want to listen to the person that suggested flying to the US and figuring out how to use CDMA phones on your program, i think the US has a lot more people who would use it, not to mention that if you appealed to more users you could justify charging something for your program, but perhaps you could make money selling your information that you learn to someone in the US that actually cares and make some money with it. If this program is something your serious about and we're supposed to appreciate the work you put into it, maybe you should develop some better social skills and take the work seriously yourself. because if this is just a hobby of yours and you want to make a half assed program, i'll be damned if i'm going to feel bad and donate anything to the cause, because the cause simply seems too selfish. and if its simply a program that you wanted for yourself, then keep it to yourself and don't dangle it in front of our faces and say we're asking too much. get serious or why waste everyones time.

Anyone for a Jaffa Cake?

Opinions are like arseholes (everybody has one) - My opinion is that Zorro has spent a lot of his free time to develop a software solution for integrating mobile phones into a car pc and he has been more than generous by sharing the development of this software with MP3Car users.

His support in this project has been second-to-none and he has taken the time to provide detailed answers where many would throw the icon at you (just look through the older threads in this forum)

I think Zorro is quite entitled to make a small charge to cover the time he has spent as PhoneControl has now evolved from beta to full release software. Would you complain that a DTP package like QuarkXPress doesn't open up Micro$oft Publisher documents? I'm certainly not complaining that Frodobaggins hasn't flown out to the UK to implement DAB radio (European equivalent of XM).

So relax and taste that tangy orangey centre, resting on a sponge base, covered with chocolate

P.S. Zorro, is that my free copy blagged?
