i'm not 100% sure but from what I could gather, it allows you to connect to 2 phones/devices simultaneously... like using 2 phones and such...

what leads me to think that is that my V3 always assumer Serial Port and my 6230 always Serial Port 2.... no idea...

the 2 ports are under my phone as the services it supports, not for the usb device.
either way,
Im currently researching any and all Bluetooth 2.0 options
so far ive found 2 bluetooth usb dongles that you can acutally buy today.

I know that the toshiba device does not use WIDCOMM drivers, they use there own btstack from toshiba, but other (older) toshiba devices have been able to use widcomm drivers, not sure about this new one.

Now all i need to do is find a Phone that has bt2.0

Hi there

One Com-Port is for the local-service (usually the lower com) and the other is for the client-service.
In order to have two connections you need two com-ports of the client-service.

If you click right on the BT-icon in system tray and the select (exetended configuration or similar) then click the client...-tab you can add another com-port for your PC.
One of the client-com-port can be connected to your phone while the other is connected to the BT-GPS-Mouse for example.
