Alternative software?

Is there any other software out there comparable to PhoneControl? I cannot get my Nokia N80 working with it but it seems to have the functionality I need. It will connect to my phone ok, find the operator and dial my phone but I don't hear anything and they don't hear me - this is the same for bluetooth or cable. I don't know if it's because my phone isn't in the available models and I tried a similar one (although I had the same issue with a Nokia 6670 which was in the list) of if there's something I need to do with the phone itself. Either way I'd like to look at similar software which may work.
Thanks.

the ability to hear and be heard thru your car speakers and mic is strictly bt audio gateway. Can you manually connect to the audio gateway thru the bluetooth software? If some phoco will work with it.

I have read since I have posted about the audio gateway and I'm not sure I understand what it's all about. Is it something that appears with the Broadcom (or Widcomm) drivers? I don't have those as I have a fairly old no-name bluetooth dongle. I also tried it with the cable and therefore didn't use bluetooth at all. Is there something I'm missing here?!"
Thanks

Sorry, I've been looking at this for several days now and have just noticed the part about not hearing anything over a cable! I guess I just need a better bluetooth dongle then with the right driver and I should be ok?

you need the latest widcomm drivers. they work with most dongles. They aint free but they are easily attainable on the internet. Without those ur not gonna get what you want outta any phone program.

Let me know if you get it right. I've been thinking about getting this phone. If it works with phoco I'll get it for sure!

Thanks

Well I'm completely lost with this now, have no idea how to get hold of this widcomm driver - (I now have a sitecom CN-512 dongle) and I'm a bit stuck!

it takes quite a bit of googling but i pretty sure you can find it either by torrent, or by googling widcomm 5.01.802

I've given up for a bit to be honest, I cannot get the widcomm drivers to work with my bluetooth dongle, so I just need to find some more time and have a good go at some other point.
