Oh wow, that seems much easier...... So when you say "run the black wire to JP3" you mean the black one inbetween the red ones?

If we go the route of using the cable method to use this board, cant we use the LCD interface to learn the sensors? That way we do not have to have the PC learn it?

No, you need to use the PC too, because the PIC interface is totally independent from the LCD iterface. They share only the receiver.

Ahhhhhhh.... ok, i got it.....

Another question, is the waeco system the same as the 3rd eye? How many people are successfully using this system? Is it still the same way? Connect a wire to the data port cable and the ground, then use your PIC and board?

I checked the site..... the waeco system doesnt seem to be advanced.... all it is is a blinking light that changes colors.... Does it send out the same information to work with Robby's TPMS Doctor? Like battery life and which tire is doing what?

I can tell you Im sell 17 boards... So we have more than 20 users of this TPMS system...

arggggggggggggg, you win....... screw it, i am not going to be cheap, ill by the 3rd eye... im not taking any chances with compatabity issues..... I'll go head and buy the kit on April 4th..... I know i'll have the money then. Were do I buy all the components for the USB board? I know Dejan is out and wont have any till August, so i guess i will have to make my own board (I cant wait that long). I know the PIC comes from you Robby, but what about all those little transistors and stuff and the USB port?

PS: wow some of you moderators are quick to get testy....... Although this is the first time ive seen you do it...

I have done a rough Spanish to English translation of aveigal's post and it would appear that he has approached the manufacturer of the 3rd Eye system for a discount if we order direct from them (cutting out the middle men). Here is the transcript :-

$125 for a 4 sensor 3rd Eye TPMS kit? Wow! Can you email them back and ask how much the extra sensors would be? I would like to keep a set in my winter wheels as well.
