However:
I've just been hit bad by PhoCo going into the grave, so I am a bit cousios. Will you make the code available, Robby? What I want is the possibility to make changes in case you do not support it anymore, and also to be able to upgrade if needed.

If you plan to go commercial I think that making code available will make product stronger. Not copied. :-)

Or is the code so simple that code is superstable?

(great work btw)

Don't worry Bes, it will not happen what happened with PhoCo.
The device has been tested for about a year and half without any problem, then I doubt that it will need a bugfix.
Also, the firmware of the PIC sends to the PC, through the USB port, the raw data received from sensors, so any improvement can be easily done by changing the software that runs on the PC side (that is opensource).

Anyway thanks for appreciating my work

Sorry if this is a daft question , but here goes.

I have ordered a 5 sensor kit , and 4 extra sensors as i have a set of off roading wheels and tyres.

Have all these sensors got unique codes?

Can they all be programed at once ..and will just work when i swap my wheels over ?

Would i have to get the system to learn each time i swap my wheels over ?

Thanks

Yeah, I think it'll have to be re-learned...

Question on this project...

Do you need a driver to load on Windows when the USB device detects the board?

Does the 5V off the USB power both the board and the receiver?

@rgarjr: It uses std Microsoft HID driver - no need to load "special" driver

The 5V off USB power both PIC and RF receiver.

The valve stem were you put the air is what holds it onto the wheel. The sensor replaces your original one with the sensors valve stem.

Dejan,

Boards look very nice man. I'm seeing that JP1 and JP2 dont have a header pin, did you not put one on there?

JP1 is 5v from USB Interface to the RF receiver, JP2 is RF receiver data out to PIC processor.

They are soledered when you place RF-receiver board onto the PIC USB interface,as those 2 jumpers needs to be bend to fit to RF-Receiver board - if you solder them beforehand, it is difficult to position the RF-Receiver.

They come in the kit anyways.
