Small question....... Why doesnt the TPMS work when plugged into a powered USB hub, but works when pluggin into a onboard USB port. I notice OBDII scanners have the same issue...... Any explanation?

Power and bandwidth could be two of the issues.

If i put it on the hub, it does install, but as a diffrent device. If i put it directly, then it will say TPMS reciever, then say human interface device...... The OBDII scanner i decided to buy in serial port form, since i have 4 serial ports..... One for HD, XM, OBDII, and AmpCtrl.

Mine is plugged to a 7 ports powered hub and works well.
I've also tired with a 4 ports not powered hub without any problem.
Maybe your hub has some problems.

When I was at the UK meet, Enak was having trouble with his until he took it out of the hub and put it in direct, but he also said he had been having other issues with the devices plugged into that hub.

Maybe your hub has some problems.

I guess it all depends on the brand of hub and how they implement things.... i really dont mind it being connected directly, was just curious.
