USB TPMS Videos

Hello Everyone,

I finally had a chance to make my first video of the USB TPMS. I thought a good way to start is to give you guys an idea of what goes on at my factory. This first video is Part 1 of the Manufacturing of the USB TPMS, it goes through the first phase of the manufacturing process which is surface mount assembly. Be sure to look for Part 2 and also USB TPMS Setup and Useage as they will become available in the next few weeks. I have the link in the post below thanks and enjoy, comments are welcome.

Alok

That's just our prototype line, our main lines have dual 4 head pick and place machines for a quick process and automatic stencil printers. We usually stick to Japanese and German machines as they tend to be more accurate over a longer period of time.

That pick and place CNC machine looks awesome, damn its amazing how it can pick up those small components and drop them precisely on the boards.

It uses small nozzles that actually suck up the components using air pressure and then rotate and drop them. The nozzles have to be changed depending on the size of the component you want to pick up. The smallest component size this machine can handle is 0201 which translates to about 0.024" × 0.012" (0.6 mm × 0.3 mm) which is pretty tiny, most people would need a magnifiying glass just to read the value.
