Is M2-ATX capable of powering these devices?

Here is my WorkLog (new):
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/work...rst-carpc.html

The main question now is regarding the Power Supply.

I need power for the MoBo (12v), for the HDD (5v), USB Hub (5V) and Screen (12V).

Do you know how many connectors comes with M2-ATX PSU?

Do I need any optional parts for M2-ATX or maybe another Power Supply?

Thanks!!!

I'm sure the m2 would be adequate. If I remember correctly the M2 comes with 2 molex connectors (hdd, cd-rom) 1 mini molex (is that what they're called?) for a floppy, and of course the 20-pin motherboard power connector. Also has an optional P4 connector you can get.

Make your own. Wire the pose connector for the Lilliput screen to a male molex HDD connector.
Yellow wire is +12v and the black wires are ground. The red wire is +5v and won't do anything.

Hi. So I will get the HDD connector and split it in 2, one will power the 2.5' HDD and the other will go to the Lilliput.

On the Lilliput side, I will change the connector to become a male HDD connector.

Is that it?

Thanks!

don't the smaller laptop drives require a specific power adapter?

not to mention an adapter to go from the 2.5" form factor to the 3.5" form factor for the IDE plug?

That adapter usually has a molex HDD connector for power.

Yes you are right. I've bought this adapter:

http://www.ciadosoftware.com.br/prod...&dep=7&cat=106
For around U$15,00 and it converts data and power for the small HDD.
