I have since swapped out the M2 ATX with another DC power supply. It does the same thing!
However, this time what I did was connect up the laptop drive and boot - into windows okay. Now if i connect the 12v line and ground of the DW2500 to the molex the screen goes off - if I then remove the connections the PC begins to POST and then boot again.
So it sounds like there is something to do with the screen that is causing intially the computer to POST and if connected once the computer is booted cause it to reset.
This is bloody weird!
Something sounds wrong with the Screen. Check your wiring, make sure you have everything wired correctly.
Also, I would connect the screen directly to your Power Supply, and check how much amperage it is drawing. You MIGHT have a large draw because of a small short that isn't blowing the fuse, but pullng to much power from the PS, or doing something that a switching power supply just doesn't like.
I think it is a sae bet that IT IS NOT THE M2. I just mention that, because there is a trend on this board to malign and beat the M2 up, when most of the time, it is NOT the m2s fault. I think a more proper title for your thread would have been
"Very Wierd Problem" or "Computer won't boot" etc...
