Quick and dirty 5 and 10v

I think this should work, as I dont have time to order any regulator I can get 10v out of, but I have a draw of 5v regulators....

Input voltage is around 12-14 v

If I connect up a standard 7805, and then connect up a 2nd 7805, but instead of grounding its common pin connect to to the 5v of the first regulator, can I expect a safe stable 10v ?

I'm guessing a small (5k?) resistance on the output of the (first) 5v regulator to stop it being lifted by the common pin of the 2nd regulator?

I'll have to build this in the morning, gotta got pretend to be a taxi drive now, damn 'friends'
