Anyone sick of M2-atx posts yet?

Well, unfortunately, heres another one. I want to use a m2, but im really worried about quality issues. Are there so many posts here with problems due to lack of quality? Or are they just so popular that its only inevitable for some to be "junk"? Just like when asking a technician about a certain car he works on, chances are better than average he will give it a negative review. The reason? He only sees broken ones. No one comes in and says "Hey, my cars running great! Just thought you would like to know!".

So really what I am asking is how many people DONT have problems with their m2-atx's?

No problems here, works great on my boat, only issue is it shuts down my PC when my battery sinks below 11.5V, but that's what it's designed to do. I want to get a more programmable supply so I can take my stereo battery bank down to where the amps won't function any more which is 10.5v.

Mine also.

You are very correct, there are probably more M2s then other products because of the cost and capability. Many of the problems, though perhaps not all, are user error. There is NO product that is 100 percent 100 percent of the time.

Mine's worked perfectly for over a year. Most problems are operator error, making bad assumptions, etc.

Another option to consider:

My DSATX has never skipped a beat in over a year.

Lots of room for a more powerful setup later, if you're so inclined.

More expensive though..........

Yeah, I think there are more M2-ATX power supplies sold, so therefore you are going to see more failures.

Mine works both on the Bench and in my Truck! No Problems, No Noise (Audio or Screen), Werks like it should. Just found the additional Timers and printed them out, LOVE the 15mins/1 Hour version! Will really use that one!
I will probably purchase another one to run ALL my USB Devices - Wireless, Hub/Multi-Reader, Bluetooth and Fans! Drawing just a tad to close to the threshold for my desires. Great Product!

I have fried my M2 also. Could you explain how you did yours? Im new and just got mine in the mail the other and still haven't been able to use my carpc yet. It sucks. I would hate to send it back for repair if I could just order a new M2 and install it myself. Im hoping i didnt hurt anything else. Let me know, your response is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
