carnetix p1900

hello all,
can this power supply be used without a computer? what i need is an 18 volt adaptor for my monitor and this is all i could find to use with it.

you bet. just give it power, ground, and an ignition signal and you're in business. you may have to set some jumpers to get the appropriate voltage.

the things that make it great for computers are it's ability to survive crank, and trigger the power button on the computer to induce sleep or hibernation, and also to wake it up. But otherwise it's pretty much a normal DC-DC converter.
