Xbox w/ M2 ATX and PSU convertor

Well, finally i have received my M2 ATX, had it wired up with my PSU convertor to plug into my new 2007 G35 sedan with built in Video/Audio inputs on the stock screen.

For temporary, i have used a cigerette adapter (wired teh m2 directly to a cigrette adapter). And the auto power up, shutdown works perfect. I got all excited!!!

But now i am REALLY disappointed. I am getting crazy hard drive noise, and engine whine. I can hear the hard drive spin up, and be accessed. I hear clicking on my speakers every time the xbox accesses teh hard disc.

Is this because I used the cigrette lighter? If i use a nice chunky wire from the battery will my problems go away?

I am currently using the factory BOSE studio on wheels (3 x 10" woofers, and 11 speakers), and was planning on upgrading with a full blown subwoofer ssytem.

Any ideas? I would hate to think i bought the M2 for no reason. In fact its even noisers than when i used a power invertor!!!

Any help would be great!! tahnks
