jumpy monitor

Hi Guys,

I have a system in the car that was all working fine for a while and it decided to go a little mental recently.

I have the PC in the back powered by an interter for now and the monitor is in the front of the car and powered off the same power as the stereo.

I took the system out of the car and in home and it works perfectly and tried it again in the car and the monitor jumps all over the place. I did turn the stereo on and off a few times and the screen cleared up , but i did the same thing again 30 mins later and it stayed jumpy the whole time.

Im not sure what exactly the issue is , but im thinking its either not enough power going to the screen as its using the same cables as the stereo , or there is some possible ground loop issue with the image.

The dvd player on the stereo works fine on the screen all the time which is why im thinking of the loop issue , but if anyone can point me in the right direction it would make life easier.

Thanks

erm just noticed i may have posted this in the wrong area .. if someone could move it id appreciate it.
