Why are you double posting your problems?

Because they are in threads that talk about both.. I didn't start NEW threads, I posted in EXISTING threads that mentioned the problem in each..

Will this m2-atx be able to support an LCD monitor with 12v, 15watts requirements? After looking at the the technical specs in the store page, I see that at the bottom of the 2nd chart it states that off of the 12v rail, its MAX and Peak current are 8watts and 9watts respectively. Therefore I assume that this is not enough to handle an LCD with 15watts requirement. Can anyone advise me if I'm wrong?

#Edit/Correction: I'm sorry I JUST realized that the PSU current output is 8amps and 9amps, not watts(which is power), duh... But My question of compatibility still stands. Is there enough power output for the 12v 15watt lcd?

I found an issue with my m2atx. I dont know the actual issue, but when i boot up with it in the car, the keyboard works on the post diagnostic screen and i can get into bios after that, bios does not respond to keystrokes. Same if i try to boot from cd once past post and i am prompted to press any key to boot from cd no response on usb or ps2 keyboards. Also if i let it boot all the way to windows os only 2 usb ports work, others have no power. I pulled it out, connected my car pc to a normal desktop powersupply and all is well all usb ports work just fine.(good news at least)

weird problem...but from what you describe, apparently the power supply isnt supplying 5v power? if you can check it with a multimeter that might tell you a 5v line is dead... sounds goofy though, i didnt think the motherboard would boot without proper power going into it.

It would still boot just fine and function normal, just i lose usb ports and during post i lose keyboard functionality. Originally thought it was cmos battery so reset cmos and replaced battery, but same results.

That more than likely is you overloading the 5v rail... Or trying to power USB devices through unpowered hubs.

Issue fixed.. What I did was temporarily install the egg inline with the ignition wire and it worked..

So I then went to wire it permanently but before I did that I worked on it a little more and it started working correctly, without the filter!

It's like having the filter in there for a few boots fixed it.. Weird..

Anyhow, it's working normally now, without the filter.

I will go with your first answer and hope your right. Which sounds possible. Do you know of any hubs i can power without using an extra usb port on my motherboard like from battery power?
