Carnetix P1290 random cut out
I've a P1290 powering a Xenarc. It has worked fine for a number of months with SSC but now it just randomly cuts the computer off, no forced shut down or anything - just dead. Everything is working fine, music playing, engine management system data logging, fine - then just dead; no VGA signal appears on the touchscreen. When this happens the P1290 starts to bleep incessantly - according to the instruction manual it doesn't even have a bleep, just flashing LEDs! Then I have to do a windows restart.
The PC works fine in the house so I suspect it is the power supply. But what could it be that just cuts it dead, not even a forced shut down?
Is there any special LED signal sequence I should look out for that might diagnose this?
