What Voltage would I use on a Epia Mini itx

My buddy passed away awhile ago and he was going to build a carputer.

He left a box of stuff at my friends house, and I found his Epia Mini itx motherboard. It has some type of car power supply on it, but it did not have the power cord. I was wondering what voltage I should hook up to it to make it work? Of course I would think 12 volts but then there is ampage, or maybe it uses a converter to just 5 volts? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, how would I know if positive goes on the outide or inside? Sorry to ask such newb questions.

Sorry for your loss.....

Try to identify the PS. Look on this site, mo-co-so.com, or any other carputer site you can fine, and see if you can discover what kind it is. Then from the same site, you should be able to find drawings giving you pin settings, jumper settings, etc.

More than likely, it's 12V, but which pin is ground, ingnition, or battery.

If you still have no luck, I would suggest you take a picture and post it. Sure someone can identify it if you can't.

I found the manual.

http://resources.mini-box.com/online...W60-manual.pdf

I hooked it up to the motherboard with a 12v power supply. anyway to turn it on? I jumped the pins on the motherboard for the power switch but I get nothing. I tested the two prongs on the pw-60 and i'm getting power to it.
